In all the seriousness and the memes, the current times have uprooted a lot of plans for a lot of people. Events, gatherings, and of course weddings have been pulled up left right and centre until further notice.
And our hearts go out to everyone affected by this. So we want to show how we have been helping any of our couples affected by Covid-19.
As a result, we’ve had to close the Farm to guests – but unlike other venues who have firmly shut their doors, we are as open as we possibly can be. In fact, only 3 members of staff have had to be furloughed!
The rest of us may be working from home but it doesn’t mean that we are going to be leaving our couples dangling off the edge off a cliff.
Far from it; making sure our couples are all ok has been our top priority!
To existing couples who have had to re-schedule their date, we have worked hard to be as flexible as possible. We wanted to ensure that they get the wedding they had envisioned – just with a new date. Every couple up until the end of June has transferred to a brand new date free of charge; and every couple booked between July and September now have a back-up date in place, just in case.
For anyone who has any issues of any shape and size, our Wedding Team are always happy to help; and our regular planning meetings for future couples have still been taking place virtually. With this, we are helping couples plan their dream wedding, from the comfort of their own sofa!
What about everyone else?
To any newly-engaged couples who want to book their date in lockdown, or to anyone who has been let down by previous plans, they can now visit the venue virtually, with our Google 3D Tours application AND a Virtual Tour (huge thank you to the incredible Creative Camera with these!)!
On top to that, we have launched our brand new “Book with Confidence” campaign.
Couples can now book their wedding with a 50% deposit until they can see The Wellbeing Farm in person. If they find upon visiting us that they think we’re not the venue for them, then we will refund their deposit! It really is a win-win situation!!
For anyone still wanting to get married in 2020, we have put together a last minute offer, which you can find more about by enquiring here.
We may not be able to hold Open Days like we were before, but will be holding our very first Virtual Open Day on Sunday 3rd May 10am-6pm! Wedding Open Days will continue on the first Sunday of every month throughout lockdown. Our Team will be on hand to answer any questions you may have. Plus we have some incredible suppliers involved to give us online workshops! To tune in, click here
We’ve also found the time to develop our Knowledge Centre
This has been a huge time to reflect, and answer as many questions YOU want to know about as we possibly can!
Even our llamas have got the writing bug and started writing a weekly newsletter! You can subscribe to that by clicking here
Yes the situation sucks; but we hope we have helped our couples to the extent that it at least sucks a little bit less than before.
By staying open, we are pleased that our stance has been seen as an example of good practice
We are still as open as we possibly can be and have been helping as many couples as possible with problems big and small. We urge you all if you have ANY worries at all related to your wedding to contact us: [email protected] or on 01204 852113
