Are you looking for a Sustainable Events Venue?
The Wellbeing Farm is proud to be joining Business Declares and the fast-growing network of businesses who acknowledge the Climate and Ecological Emergency
Our aim is to reach Net Zero by 2030 by reducing our emissions and improving our impact on biodiversity. Concern for both people and the planet are not new to us and we look forward to continuing to share our journey and ensuring our voice is part of the collective, resounding call for change. We are certainly not claiming to be perfect, neither are we judging others, instead we are part of a coalition of the willing looking to collaborate and accelerate action while continuing to highlight the challenges and uncomfortable truths.
Green & Carbon Neutral
We want to be seen as one of the most sustainable green and carbon-neutral venues in the UK. We are committed to combining sustainability, wellbeing and fun into something very unique as well as memorable.
Passionate about Wellbeing
We love supporting the local economy and developing young people who work at the farm. We are passionate about working with wellbeing providers to raise wellbeing to the highest priority in Lancashire and we are committed to doing our part in preserving the future of the planet.
Certified B Corporation
We are so committed to sustainability that we have created this dedicated area on our website.
In November 2020 we were delighted to represent the independent hospitality industry at a special fringe event focusing on hospitality at COP26. Many of the posters displayed in this area were specially created for that event.
“We are trying our best to be as sustainable as possible and we’d love to hear from you as to what else you think we could do?”

Business as a Power for Good
On the 24th March 2022, nearly 100 representatives from business, organisations and communities gathered together at The Wellbeing Farm for a unique event– the first of its kind for Lancashire – an event focusing on the power of business as a force for good.
The Aim of the Event was to:
Raise awareness of the Triple Bottom Line concept and the evidence of how this can help companies achieve high business growth and resilience.
Have exhibitors and speakers who can introduce attendees to companies who are making a difference and the B Corp concept
Provide high-level motivating speakers who can inspire and talk about how they are redefining how business is done in order to make a positive difference in the world, both through the way they treat their people and those in the supply chain and through their environmental policies.
To challenge businesses that already consider themselves to be ‘purpose-driven’ to push on to new challenges, take more risks and be more radical examples to others;
To enjoy a fabulous lunch and network with purpose-driven business leaders who are inspiring to make a difference to the Lancashire economy.;
To launch and showcase the new corporate events arm of The Wellbeing Farm ‘Wellbeing Corporate’;
To show how Lancashire can grow and change positively through businesses embracing the sustainability agenda and through the support of the event, provide evidence on how the Council is supporting businesses and the sustainability / low carbon agenda.
