The last wedding in a very busy weekend took us into the Marvel Cinematic Universe thanks to Jenny and Paul – and like Cap said, we could do this all day!
Their ceremony featured lots of personal touches; Jenny’s brother Duncan played guitar as her father walked her down the aisle and one of the bridesmaids, Celia, sang during the signing of the register.
A true homely wedding that screamed Jenny and Paul, they chose our Crowd Pleaser menu, featuring Sausage and Mash, Meat Pie, and Cheese Pie; along with cake cart and an ice cream cart for pudding!! They also made homemade fudge and brownies, which featured pride and place among our sweet cart and cake cart respectively.
I mentioned before that we went to the MCU – and all geeks unite!! Jenny and Paul’s tables were decorated with Funko Pop figurines of different Marvel characters: from Black Widow to Goose the alien Cat.
They even decided to name their cask ale “Ale Of Ultron”!
It wasn’t just Marvel though – their cake was Star Wars themed, adorning possibly the most Han Solo/Princess Leia quote of all time!!Congratulations Jenny and Paul – looks like you made that date!
