Wedding Planning? Pass us some of the strain

It’s official

Weddings and events are stressful.
Stressful to coordinate, plan, coordinate, follow-up – there is so much to it.

That’s why you need a venue which supports you and your mental health and wellbeing from the outset.
After all there is a lot riding on the success of your event – especially if it’s your wedding – you are after an epic experience and memory, it’s expensive and you want it to carry off to perfection (or according to your instructions).
So as it’s mental health awareness week, we are going to describe how we can help your mental health when it comes to planning your wedding or event.

You see we’re The Wellbeing Farm and as our name implies, wellbeing is at the heart of our delivery. We understand what really does go on behind the scenes of wedding planning and the stress of it all. The real emotional stages of wedding planning:

  • Excitement – pop the champagne it’s really happening but goodness it’s a big commitment
  • Naivety around the costs of everything and how much work is involved
  • Determination – your vision starts coming together but you’ve got to be super organised
  • Overconfidence and doubt creeps in – you start to panic
  • Decision fatigue – saps your energy and can put a strain on your relationship
  • Calm acceptance

We understand everything you will go through which is why we put so much effort into supporting you with the planning of your wedding.   We know ‘how to start planning a wedding?’ is one of the most searched for phrases on Google so we are here to help.

How we help plan your wedding?

It starts with an experienced team – who’ve been recognised for their work – so much that we won the Wedding Events Team of the Year at the National Wedding Industry Awards. We are also (at the time of writing this) the only exclusive B Corp Certified Wedding Venue in the UK.

This means we’ve undergone rigorous external checks to ensure we look after our staff and customers; the planet and help the local community – we ARE A GOOD TRUSTED COMPANY….

We’ve also won awards for:

  • Sustainability – we won Lancashire’s Ethical, Responsible & Sustainable Tourism Award In 2022
  • Supporting couples during Covid – we won a place in Forbes Reinvention & Resilience Top 50 in 2020 and we were a national Finalist for Guides For Brides Customer Service Awards in 2020
  • Best Wedding Barn / Farm Venue in the Great Northern Wedding Awards 2020

Our story has even been published into a best-selling book!
