We want to ensure that all of your guests are able to take part in your special day – and so at The Wellbeing Farm, we aim to betruly accessible to all!
With the extension of our bar, and re-design of our whole bar area, we’ve added a brand new disabled (and pram) chairlift that can also fold back against the wall once it’s used. Just wheel on, press the button and wheel off. Once you’ve reached the top of the lift, you’ll find that just like the bar area, the floor in our Wedding Barn is completely level; allowing everyone to move around and have a boogie!
There is also access to disabled toilets in both our Wedding Barn and the Wheatsheaf Bar, where your drinks reception would be held. If in the case of emergency (God forbid!), all of our emergency exits either are flat access or accessible via ramp.
As well as both buildings, with exclusive use you will have access to the entire site. Outside, we have also just made the hill onto our front field a little easier, as we knew it was very steep before. We have added some gentle steps, and there is a second entrance further down that is accessible via wheelchair or pram.
Speaking further on the outside, it may be a bit gravelly at the moment, but do not worry as we are hoping to have the WHOLE site tarmacked later this year. So… watch this space!
