Don’t Say Damn I Wish I’d Gone!

15 Apr 2025

B Corp Fest 2025 – Time is ticking. The calendar is counting down. Don’t miss out on one of the most meaningful events for conscious businesses in the UK this year.

Because B Corp Fest: Business As A Power For Good is back. It’s going to be bigger, bolder and even more impactful than ever before.

Taking place on Thursday 5th June 2025World Environment Day—this is your chance to be part of something extraordinary. A full day at The Wellbeing Farm surrounded by llamas, purpose-led people, and businesses that are genuinely changing the world. What more could you want?

We’re now in our fourth year, and with just 140 tickets available—and more than half already gone!

What Is B Corp Fest, And Why Should You Care?

B Corp Fest is more than just a conference. It’s a movement in motion—a celebration of purpose-driven organisations who believe that business should be a force for good, not just a generator of profit. Whether you’re already part of the B Corp community, exploring certification, or simply curious about how to run your business with more meaning and responsibility, this event is designed to inform, inspire, and ignite.

It brings together an incredible mix of conscious consumers, sustainability advocates, social entrepreneurs, and changemakers, all ready to share ideas, collaborate, and move the needle on what ethical business really looks like.

And let’s be honest—it’s not just the sessions that matter. It’s the conversations you have over coffee, the connections you make while wandering the farm, and the unexpected inspiration that comes when you’re surrounded by people who just get it.

So, What’s On The Agenda For 2025?

This year’s theme is all about growing the B Corp movement in Lancashire—and beyond. Our aim is to show what’s possible when businesses come together to prioritise people, planet, and purpose.

We’re thrilled to have Andrew Leeming from Boost Business Lancashire opening the event. Boost has been a big supporter of B Corp Fest from the very start, and their involvement reflects a wider regional commitment to business done better.

We’ll hear from Isabel McLennan, Engagement Manager at B Lab UK, and Andy MacNae, MP, a passionate voice behind the Better Business Act and government support for sustainable enterprise.

And if that wasn’t enough, our headline speaker is none other than Patrick Grant—founder of Community Clothing, judge on The Great British Sewing Bee, and bestselling author of LESS. Patrick is a leading voice in sustainable fashion and a brilliant example of how values and vision can reshape entire industries. He’ll be talking about business as a force for good, his journey, and why ethical fashion and local manufacturing aren’t just trends—they’re necessities.

He’ll also be doing a book signing during the break and is always up for a photo and a conversation. Expect goosebumps and good vibes.

Real Stories, Real Impact:

One of the most powerful parts of B Corp Fest is hearing from the businesses who’ve walked the walk.

This year, we’ve got a brilliant fireside chat featuring:

  • Angela Moran, ESG Director, Silentnight Group
  • Caitlin Gill-Graham, sustainable designer at Charlotte Findlater Design
  • Ian Steel, Keeper of the Flame at Atkinsons
  • A representative from B Lab UK

They’ll be talking about their own journeys toward B Corp certification, the challenges they faced, and the lessons they’ve learned along the way.

This is the kind of real talk that doesn’t happen on LinkedIn—it happens when people gather face to face, with open hearts and open notebooks.

Workshops With A Difference:

In the afternoon, we’re switching gears with interactive workshops designed to push your thinking and build your skills.

Expect powerful sessions like:

  • Sustainability Is Good For Business, Not Just The Planet – with Dr Zoe Detko and Richard Dickson
  • People Vs Planet – the climate card game that gets uncomfortable, with Molly Gould
  • The Power Of Story – turning your cause into a movement, with Sophie Lee

Each delegate will rotate through all three workshops in smaller groups, giving you time to ask questions, connect with others, and reflect deeply. And while all that’s happening, B Lab UK will be hosting a practical B Corp drop-in clinic, perfect for asking those tricky application questions in person.

Why It Matters: B Corp Fest 2025

B Corp Fest 2025 isn’t a corporate box-ticking exercise. It’s not a cash cow or a networking-for-networking’s-sake event. It’s built on belief—in better business, better communities, and a better future.

That’s why a proportion of the profits will once again go to One Woman At A Time, a charity that supports women and girls through education and enterprise. You’ll love hearing about their founder Jean and her work empowering women in Kenya by giving them vintage Singer sewing machines and the training to start their own businesses. It’s a full-circle moment that ties beautifully into Patrick Grant’s own journey and values.
