Based on the B Impact assessment, The Wellbeing Farm Ltd earned an overall score of 108.6. The median score for ordinary businesses that complete the assessment is currently 50.9.
Tree Planting Initiative
The farm has planted 500 trees on its grounds, enhancing biodiversity and contributing to carbon sequestration.
Renewable Energy Generation
Due to initial limitations with mains energy, The Wellbeing Farm installed a wind turbine to power the site, showcasing their dedication to renewable energy solutions.
Waste Reduction Practices
The farm has implemented several waste reduction strategies, including:
- Transforming food waste into fertiliser.
- Utilising wool from their llamas to create bird nest feeders.
- Establishing 'no mow' areas to promote wildlife flourishing.
