There’s a lot that goes into planning and coordinating a wedding and we are here to make it easy! Once you book with us, we will meet you up to three times (depending on what package you choose) to ease your stress and stop you from worrying!
Meet with us….
(1) Six months before your big day – for a style meeting – where we will help you design your table layout, begin your wedding day timeline, choose your wedding colours and design your décor.
(2) Three months before your big day – you’ll have been for a tasting where you will get to taste our food and have assistance in creating your wedding feast selections.
(3) One month before your big day – we will wrap up all of the details for your amazing wedding.
Remember: the only thing you have to do is make sure the ceremony is legal. Everything else that ‘always’ happens at weddings is just people following old traditions. You can do whatever you like!

Decorating the Venue
We know how time-consuming, costly and stressful it can be to spend hours searching for venue décor and those extra ‘touches’ which make your day your own. It’s also very wasteful because when will you use the items again?
We named our venue The Wellbeing Farm as we take the stress away from you – providing everything you need to make your day as WOW as possible without the stress!
The cost of hiring The Wellbeing Farm includes a large number of items and services you might pay extra for at other venues.
Our Prop Shed
Justly named, Aladdin’s cave, our Prop Shed is packed full of items to personalise your wedding for you to use for FREE. Contrary to popular belief, DIY weddings are not low cost, and if you added up the individual hire prices of signs, cake carts, table settings, toilets, log slices, lights, games and everything else, it’s not only a tonne of work but a huge additional cost. A cost to your health (through overwhelm and stress) and a cost to your bank account.

We imagine you’re after somewhere relaxed, chilled and calming. Somewhere where you can crack open the prosecco, get the music on and start getting excited. This is the beginning of your epic memory after all.
How about our wedding lounge or Snug which has the most breathtaking view of the surrounding countryside? You and your wedding tribe can enjoy the comfort of the lounge from 8 am on the morning of your big day. With plenty of space to relax, get your hair and makeup done, and even dance if you want to – it will ensure your day begins exactly how you dreamt it would.
The Snug includes:

The Farmhouse is our gorgeous on-site wedding house, available from late morning and night of your wedding, with full views n the stunning Lancashire moorlands.
Not only is it a stunning relaxing haven, but The Farmhouse also comes complete with all the space and appliances you need to get ready for your wedding day at the farm.

The Wedding Pavilion
You can choose the charm of our characterful converted rustic barn or our alfresco outdoor wedding pavilion with the most stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Otherwise, we also have plenty of alternative outside picturesque areas for your romantic dream ceremony.
Licensed Wedding Venue
Our ceremonies can seat up to 180 guests in whichever licensed area of the farm is your preferred choice.
You will need to book with a Blackburn with Darwen Registrar, or we can recommend one of our preferred Celebrants to deliver your ceremony.
Congratulations you’ve tied the knot and got a ring on your finger – now the entertainment starts….

After your wedding, while you enjoy having your photographs done, your guests are entertained. From a variety of outdoor games, bow tie-wearing Llamas to flat-cap-wearing Donkeys and a sheep called Sandra – our venue ensures you and your guests can enjoy an unforgettable, quirky, magical wedding experience.

For your photos we literally have a whole range of areas for magical photos:
If you are after woodland and a lake – no problem – for a small charge, we can provide access to Barons Farm the most magical place
If you want a photo with a bow tie-wearing llama while sitting on a vintage blue tractor – no problem
If you want the two of you to have fun quirky photos in a variety of settings you’ve come to the right place – smoke bombs, animals, quirky features – we’ve got it all.
Your Wedding Feast
One of the most important questions when planning a wedding is “What am I going to feed my guests?”
Well, rest assured, that our offerings for wedding food is something we are very proud of – we buy the best quality ingredients (local wherever possible), cook it simply and serve it generously ‘feast style’ for both you and your guests to share and enjoy!
We are lucky enough to have our very own butchers’ shop Whiteheads which has been in the family for over 130 years and supplies all our meat for your wedding breakfast. We even grow our own edible flowers and herbs to add a touch of beauty and theatre to your feast!
We can provide you with delicious homemade canapés to keep your guests happy whilst mingling with our Llamas!
Our preference is to offer an informal, social and relaxed service with the focus being on the food. Guests help themselves from the platters which are placed in the centre of each table and the constant passing of dishes acts as an icebreaker and provides a constant talking point.
Our service and relaxed approach makes for a more sociable atmosphere and provides an experience your guests will be talking about for years to come.

For all of our wedding feast packages. Children can choose to have half of the adult portions OR we provide one option from our specially designed little people’s menu.
All packages include complimentary tea and coffee served via our Lancashire Brew Station and complimentary bottles of filtered water.

We are lucky in that our dining area, bar and dance floor are all in the same room, keeping your party and the atmosphere together.

Dancing carries on until 12pm and we have a late licence until 1am.

Worried about where to stay? Did you know we are surrounded by over 126 bedrooms in a 5-mile radius of The Wellbeing Farm!
We try and be as eco-friendly as possible and we see our role in the community is to support the local economy and see this as our duty towards corporate social responsibility. It may seem at first that we’re in the middle of nowhere with no places to stay for miles around, but in fact that couldn’t be further from the truth!
We’re in fact surrounded by places to stay, many of which are local farms that have converted into B+Bs!
Within a 5-mile radius there are 126 rooms (with approximately over 200 beds)!
Within a 10-mile radius of The Wellbeing Farm there are over 350 rooms (with approximately 600+ beds)!!!

As you can understand, as there are so many choices for places to stay and we want to support local businesses as much as we can, therefore we do not offer additional accommodation.
We want your family and guests to have the most amazing wedding experience so we have dedicated guest information which we can provide with accommodation lists, local taxi details and even what to bring!

We are proud to have transparent pricing so below we have described in detail about our packages and pricing. We are flexible with food packages but need to stick to minimum numbers as our venue is exclusive.
