Our experience of delivering weddings lends itself to parties – we’ve got great supplier contacts, experience of making a vision happen and meticulous organisation skills – we will deliver a great party for you.
Great facilities in place
We already have great facilities in place at our parties and events venue, including a quirky horse trailer Gin and Cocktail Bar and loads of props within our own Prop Store which you can rummage through.
What we offer….
The bar is open until 1am with Prosecco on tap, a Gin Bar, a Rum Bar, pour your own beer – all providing a great selection of local drinks and beers
Indoor games for guest entertainment
Tipi with fire bowl which acts as a guest chill-out zone and a great area for catching up with friends and relatives (seasonal availability)
Fire pit for toasting marshmallows
Sweet cart for you to fill
Our amazing food….
We have some great food options from informal dining such as build a burger, hog roast, fantastic grazing tables and a wood burning pizza oven to five course gourmet fine dining – we cater for all tastes.
Welcome drinks….
A fantastic variety of welcome drinks and cocktails – we can even create a bespoke cocktail just for you!
Canapés – Imaginatively served to your guests on wooden trays and slate platters – the perfect accompaniment to your welcome drink.
We have numerous options for your party food from rustic to decadent and healthy to sinful.
Dietary requirements….
Should any of your guests have any dietary requirements, please inform us at least two weeks prior to the event.

Parking, location, timings….
Parking: There is free overnight parking on the site; cars must be picked up by 10am the next day before the next event begins.
Location: Wheatsheaf Hill Farm, Plantation Road,
Edgworth, Bolton BL7 0BY
Timings: Party hire is from 7pm-1am (timings are different for corporate hire so please refer to separate corporate brochure).
Barn Hire only
If you have special religious requirements and need us to provide specialist catering, you could consider hiring our Barn only and using our recommended third party caterers – this option can only be used where the type of event you are wanting requires specialist kitchen / cooking skills which we wouldn’t be able to provide.
Please note the venue only hire option is only available six months before your event and will need to be quoted on a bespoke basis.

Arrival is at 7.30pm with festive Christmas cocktail on arrival. Grab a Santa hat and get ready to start dancing the minute you walk through the door!
Our Merry Feast Experience consists of:
Roasted celeriac soup with truffle oil and crispy sage served with a bread roll.
Festive Christmas Platter served to the centre of your table for all to share and enjoy. This feast is all about sharing, celebrating and having fun. You will enjoy a large traditional Christmas platter of Roast Turkey, chipolata, goose fat roast potatoes, sage and apricot stuffing served with a large Yorkshire pudding. This will be accompanies with bowls of cauliflower cheese, honey roast carrots and parsnips, shredded sprouts and a large jug of gravy.
For vegetarians / vegans, our homemade festive spicy nut roast with cranberry, sage and chestnuts.
For pudding, take your pick from the desserts served at our cake cart – enjoy a selection of brownies, blondies, Rocky Road, mince pies and cookies.
Nibble at our Lancashire cheese stand with crackers, celery and local chutneys.
We cater for all dietary and allergies but we will need to know in advance so we can ensure you a fabulous dining experience!
Christmas Party Drinks….
We recommend that you pre-order your drinks packages. When purchasing your tickets – your drinks will be ready on your table when you arrive. The night would continue along with our live band, sax and bongs and disco until late. Our bar prices are competitively priced but drinks packages will be available and will be sent to you separately later on in the year.
